Launched in 1998, Brazz’s mission has always been to seek out the finest local ingredients and to translate them into dishes which highlight the greatness of the West Country. With a role call of acclaimed Head Chefs including Phil Vickery, Richard Guest and Liam Finnegan, Brazz is now in the talented hands of Andrew Swann. Featuring a wide ranging menu, old favourites such as Brazz Fishcakes – which have been present since day one – you’ll also find Quantock Lamb, Brixham Crab and much more.

Start the day well with one of our delicious breakfasts. Enjoy our famous Full West Country Breakfast, Eggs Benedict or some Arbroath Smokies with poached egg. Our breakfast has long been famous for the small touches, such as Gerry’s homemade jams and mueslis.
Breakfast is served from 7 am to 10 am Monday to Saturday and from 8 am to 10:45 am on Sundays and Bank Holidays for residents only.
A brunch menu is available to all from 10am – 3pm Monday – Saturday featuring such delicacies as baked Clarence Court Eggs, with Chorizo & Feta to the classic Eggs Benedict.
Our West Country roasted coffee is unbeatable and the coffee machine itself is a work of art with only two others in the UK. Accompanied by a daily selection of freshly baked pastries, Brazz is the perfect place for that reviving mid-morning coffee. We do take-away too!

Here at Brazz we love families – you’ll find our delicious children’s menu filled with favourites such as fish & chips, homemade burgers or a Minute Steak. Reward them afterwards with our Classic Brazz Brownie or a selection of local ice creams.
The Castle Hotel has been at the forefront of local and seasonal food for many years. Today Head Chef Andrew Swann showcases these local suppliers and producers with a changing artisanal menu to reflect the seasons. Expect to find fresh seasonal fish delivered daily from Brixham and meat from animals free to roam on only the best farms in Somerset.
At night, Brazz really comes to life, so if you’re looking for a venue for a girls night out or boys get together, get your drinks, sharing platters and booth pre-booked! Our plush, extra large, private booths are well located to enjoy the action and can seat between 6 and 10 people.
