Our Services

These are our main services, if you can't see your problem below, then please ask

Toenail cutting and trimming

Nails come in all different shapes and sizes and we trim all types. Sometimes the nails dig into the surrounding skin and cause pain (ingrowing nail/involuted nail) and we can relieve this issue. Some nails can become thickened, bulky or painful, we offer a nail reduction service making this problem more comfortable when wearing shoes. Sometimes nails can be brittle and then catch and tear, we can repair this problem.

Hard skin on the feet

Hard skin called callus can build up anywhere on the feet. This is caused by persistent friction. On the heel it can crack and become painful to walk, we gently remove all hard skin and our specialised cream restores feet to silky softness. Corns are round areas of hard skin and they can appear on the ball of your foot or on the toes, we carefully remove these along with the corn root to prevent recurrences.

Fungal or viral problems

The nails and the skin can be affected by a variety of problems such as fungal nails, verrucae, athlete's foot and fungal infections of the skin. These problems need to be resolved to prevent spreading, by regular appointments. Untreated, these conditions can lead to other complications. We can help to eliminate these problems over time, making you feel more comfortable about wearing sandals in summer.

Medical Conditions

Are you a diabetic or do you have a neurovascular condition? Are you on medications such as blood thinners?

If you have any of these problems, then it is vital that your feet are properly looked after and inspected on a regular basis. We are specially trained to care for your feet, no matter what your diagnosis, condition or medication may be. We also a offer wound cleaning, dressing and management for any problems detected

What is the difference between a Foot Health Practitioner and a Podiatrist?

A Foot Health Practitioner cares for and maintains the health of your feet. A Podiatrist performs more advanced treatments such as surgery and local anaesthetics.
