About Natalie
Training
Natalie started dancing from a young age. She attended lessons in RAD Ballet and ISTD Modern and Tap lessons and part of the competing 'Performers' team at The Bristol School of Dancing. Natalie also attended Rise Youth Dance and was part of Contemporary dance group.
Natalie was part of every school production, take ABRSM music exams for the Flute and Piano and perform in the school wind band and a local concert band.
Natalie achieved Triple Distinction* in her Level 3 BTEC Dance studies at SWADA. During this time Natalie started taking private singing lessons in preparation for Drama Schools.
Natalie went on to gain a place at the highly respected The Urdang Academy in London. Originally starting on the foundation course and within weeks of attendance, was moved straight up to the Degree course. Whilst training at the college, Natalie took up other Dance styles such as Commercial, Street dance and partner work.
Natalie holds a BA (Hons) in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre.
As for singing training, Natalie has been trained in Legit, Contemporary Musical Theatre, Pop / Rock and more recent years Jazz.
Outside of college hours, you would find Natalie in practice rooms, attending masterclasses, and at Pineapple, Base and Studio 68 classes.
Performing
Natalie is a Singer, Dancer, Skin Artist, Actor - Musician (Flute), Voice Actress, and Presenter.
Natalie has recently appeared as a Dancer / Skin Performer in Fireman Sam LIVE (UK and International Tour). Previous credits include Milkshake Live (UK Tour), Disneyland Paris as a Character and Parade Dancer and a Singer / Host for TUI.
Other work include Immersive Theatre productions as an Actor and storyteller, Backing dancer for a Whitney Tribute and a Beyonce Tribute. ​The Rugby League World Cup Opening Ceremony at The Millennium Stadium (Cardiff) , and working on television shows such as Poldark, Sex Education, The Spanish Princess, Casualty and Doctor Who.
Credits whilst training include The Pyjama Game (The Pleasance Theatre, London), Dancer for the staging for BBC Children in Need Eastenders with choreographer Beth Honnan, Jayne Ayre (Finsbury Town Hall/ Urdang), Link Showcase (Finsbury Town Hall/ Urdang Academy), Urdang Summer Showcase (Hackney Empire, London).
Teaching
​Natalie has over 6 years of Dance and Musical Theatre teaching experience from ages 2+, College and Degree Level and Adults.
Natalie is a Dance Lecturer/ Choreographer at Bristol Institute of Performing Arts (BIPA) and Sophia Leong Dance Academy (SLDA) .
Natalie also teaches Workshops, Wedding couples/ hen parties/ kids parties as well as private lessons in The South West and South Wales.
