The Glasgow Central Novotel is ideally located a short walk from stations. Welcome from reception staff and quick check in experience. Room v comfortable and clean. Building works going on opposite but as we were out most of the day did not disturb us. Breakfast was a bit pricey but very good. if booking made in advance then slightly cheaper. As we were staying 2 nights we opted not to have room cleaned during stay. Great eco initiative from Accor and we gained 100 Accor points. Check out v quick and efficient.

Staff and room were fine. Good shower. Hotel fairly central. Unfortunately restaurant not big enough for number of guests. We were seated in the bar surrounded by cluttered tables with used plates and crockery. You had to carry your breakfast through the restaurant and into bar. All totally unsatisfactory.

Stayed for 2 nights from 26th April....Staff are great and location is brilliant but a few things weren't great 1. The lifts are terrible, waited 7 minutes at one stage for a lift 2. The shower in the bath is an accident waiting to happen, The bath is very high and no rubber bath mat is dangerous, ( I know you can ask reception for one, but they should be in all rooms) 3. I know it's not the hotels fault but the noise from the building next door makes sleep impossible, a generator came on at 5am and that was the end of sleeping
