A lunchtime visit for my wife and me. I chose the Spanish Omelette with wedges and peas and my wife had a jacket potato with chicken filling and salad.
Both... read more looked appealing. My Omelette was extremely tasty and the food was extremely hot, and maintained its heat. The jacket potato was generously filled and the salad was crisp. Well recommended; they were very busy which is always a plus.

  Arrived a little early for our booked table, however it was ready so were seated quickly. The waitress explained the menus which was a little unnecessary (one for food, one... read more for drinks) and we selected our order from the very extensive food menu. The ambience of the cafe is lovely and is well spaced out for COVID social distancing, however the two waitresses seemed a little confused by some of the bookings but they managed fine in the end.

Two of the party chose omelette, I opted for mine , the Montpensier (ham, parsley, asparagus and mushroom) with a jacket and salad, my husband, the Pacific (tuna and prawn) with full salad, although there is a choice of chips or wedges. Our other companion chose a lamb burger with chips, onion rings and a side salad. The food arrived after a reasonable period of time and look amazing, the omelettes were light and fluffy and very filling. Unfortunately, my husbands 'full' salad was smaller in size than our side salad and we had to ask for extra which was provided without question with no extra charge. The lamb burger was fairly dry, and although edible, was reported that it didn't have much flavour which was disappointing. The rest of the meal however, was perfectly cooked.

After finishing our mains, our plates were cleared, but we were asked if we would like desserts (which we did), and we were left to our own devices to finish our drinks. On asking for the bill, we paid by card and left - a little disappointed not to have finished our meal with desserts and perhaps a coffee. The cost, just under £40 for 3 meals, two soft drinks and a cider.
