Aleksandra Ola is a feminist singer-songwriter, composer, and producer. Her innovative, bilingual music blends Polish and English, drawing inspiration from Slavic traditions, Orthodox chants, and the natural voice techniques of English folklore singers. Guided by Jungian archetypes, she explores themes of empowerment, particularly through the Wild Woman archetype, to inspire women to live authentically and freely. With a passion for creativity and experimentation, Aleksandra seeks to share her unique sound and message, fusing her cultural heritage with the dynamic UK music scene.
WORKSHOP - Voice Your Creative Self 12pm Start
A 2-hour workshop for those ready to explore their voice and unlock their creative potential. Through voicework, storytelling, painting, and singing, you will connect with yourself and others in a shared, supportive space. Voicing your thoughts, dreams, stories, and even your scars is a vital step in discovering your true voice. No prior experience is needed—your voice is yours to use, and everyone has the right to be heard. Get inspired.
Who will lead the workshops? Aleksandra Ola, a Master of Music graduate from Newcastle, has extensive experience leading singing circles and providing vocal coaching. Having lost her own voice at 21, she embarked on a journey to reclaim it through workshops, singing classes, and deep personal exploration. Recently, she has been inspired by her work with Frankie Armstrong. Being sensitive and empathetic, she creates a safe and welcoming space for you and your voice.
Performance is free for all workshop attendees.
PERFORMANCE 2:30 pm Start
An immersive musical journey from darkness to light, She Belongs to Us explores the complementary aspects of feminine archetypes. Inspired by Jungian analysis and her own dreams, Aleksandra Ola has crafted a 12-song album, each piece delving into a different archetype. Through this performance, we will encounter the Mother, the Witch, the Puppet, the Warrior, the Peasant, and many more—each representing a unique facet of the feminine experience.
