Join Thomas the Tank Engine for a day of adventure at Swindon & Cricklade Railway! All aboard a train ride with Thomas, say Hello to Sir Topham Hatt and join Rusty & Dusty for a trainload of fun.

FAQs

How long are the Thomas rides?
All Thomas rides are approximately 35 minutes long.

Do I need to book my Thomas ride?
Yes. You will need to select your preferred time and seat when booking your ticket.

I've booked onto a train later in the day, when can I arrive?
Please arrive as early as you can to enjoy all the other activities before your train ride!

What does my Day Out With Thomas ticket include?
Your ticket includes ALL the activities included in the activity section above.

Will there be other Thomas & Friends characters at the event?
Yes. Sir Topham Hatt, Percy, Mavis and Trevor the Traction Engine will also be at the event.

Can I stay all day?
Yes, the event is open to visitors from 10:00 until 17:30.

Can we still enjoy the event in the rain?
Yes! Most of the event will be undercover, however the bouncy castles will not be inflated during rainfall for safety reason.

Is there somewhere to eat and drink?
Yes. Food and drink will be available from the Whistlestop Café and other catering vendors. Picnic areas will also be available for those bringing their own food.

Is there disabled access?
The site is accessible to disabled users. The train is also disabled-friendly and accessible with ramps and specific seating areas for wheelchairs.

All transactions are subject to a non-refundable 0.75p transaction charge and non-refundable 10% booking fee (8% on family discount).
