Redditch Operatic Society is thrilled to present the regional premiere of a new musical version of A Christmas Carol, based on the classic story by Charles Dickens.
A joyous celebration of the festive season, the show combines the ghostly tale of miser Ebenezer Scrooge with a score of original songs inspired by the carols of a traditional Victorian Christmas
Find out how Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his old business partner, Jacob Marley, and the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come. They each show him how his mean and selfish behaviour has affected those around him. In the process, Scrooge discovers that that there is still time for him to transform into a generous and kind-hearted man, thus embodying the true spirit of Christmas.
A Christmas Carol has been performed in Middle Temple Hall in central London for seven sell-out seasons, and has been seen by over 17,000 people. Firmly established as one of the capital’s most magical festive treats, ROS has the privilege of presenting the first ever production outside of London. Don’t miss this very special event!
