Cannizaro House is a 19th Century dwelling that we have ensured maintains individual character and historic charm. Sensitively refurbished, its former glory shines on. The distinctive setting has hosted the likes of Lord Tennyson, Oscar Wilde and even the last Maharajah of Punjab. Located within the 34 acres of parkland on Cannizaro Park and adjacent to Wimbledon Common, it is the epitome of English countryside. However the bright lights of London are only 30 minutes away. Aside from extensive parkland and nearby boutique shopping in Wimbledon Village, the hotel sits close to the All England Club, the home of tennis, which for a fortnight each year hosts the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, attracting interest and personalities from around the world. A tranquil setting, yet well connected, you are never far from something to do. Our exquisite Orangery overlooks the gardens and our Lanson Terrace is ideal for al fresco dining.
