When you are on tour or away for a run, your own GP can be hundreds of miles away, and a health worry does not wait for the get-out. We are Chelmsford Private GPs, three experienced, local female GPs, and we can see you by video wherever the work takes you. As long as you are physically in the UK at the time of your appointment, all you need is a phone, tablet or laptop and a quiet, private spot, whether that is your digs, a hotel room or the dressing room. If you are in or near Chelmsford, you can also see us face to face at Phoenix Hospital in Great Baddow.
We know theatre hours are not nine to five, so our appointments include early mornings, before a matinee or a call, as well as evenings and Saturdays. You can book directly for anything you would normally take to your NHS GP: coughs and chest infections, injuries picked up at work, anxiety, low mood, stress and sleep, women's and men's health, sexual health and skin problems. We can sort repeat medication and prescriptions while you are away from home, and fit notes within the consultation where appropriate. If you need an examination, a blood test or a scan, we will help you work out the quickest way to get it.
Between us, Dr Yenushka Abeyratna, Dr Alev Onen and Dr Fiona Graham take the time to listen properly and give you a clear plan. You do not need medical insurance. Appointments are for anyone aged 18 or over, and you will need photo ID.
