About *Costume Makes & Hires

At TR2 we have a costume production workroom where we work with designers to create unique garments for in-house and external productions, for example The Devil Wears Prada currently on at the Dominion Theatre in London. From complex alterations, reworking costumes, to making patterns, dyeing and breaking down. We have a special dedicated costume store with over 8,000 garments, featuring original items, reproduction and bespoke garments, along with shoes and accessories.

This entire collection is available to hire for community and professional-based projects. We’ve previously supplied costumes to the BBC (Beyond Paradise), theatre maker Frantic Assembly, Told by an Idiot, Hofesh Shechter, Extraordinary Bodies, Madagascar the Musical, Hall for Cornwall and local schools and colleges.
