Dr Parsons is our founder, director and lead GP. Born and educated in Bath, he read medicine at the University of Manchester. After gaining considerable experience in hospital medicine he chose to specialise as a GP, completing his training in 2016. He has a specialist interest in dermatology and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Practical Dermatology from the University of Cardiff.
As well as founding Somerset Doctors, Dr Parsons works in the NHS in a small country practice and in pre-hospital medicine with the local ambulance service. Outside of medicine he is a keen choral singer and devoted husband, father and son.
