The Little Theatre

Dundee Dramatic Society was formed in 1924 and has been at its present location at the foot of the Hilltown since 1936. We are the longest running dramatic society in Dundee, and have a rich and interesting history.

From performing cutting edge plays that challenged Apartheid, to famous former members, a lot has happened in the past 100 years.

The Society and its members continue to run and maintain The Little Theatre. In order to raise funds, we perform four plays a year. Each play has five performances over a one week period. Rehearsals take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with one work night per week for set building/painting and technical preparations.
