Dangerous To Know theatre company is thrilled to be bringing On Me, our urgent, award winning new piece of theatre, to Bolton Central Library on 16th and 17th May - with the first night concluding in a post-event panel discussion with local front-line charities and organisations tackling Gender-Based Violence.

Actors Shona and Christian have just started working together on a true crime docudrama. Christian plays a cruel abuser-turned-killer. Shona plays his survivor. As filming progresses, their feelings for each other grow – along with fear, self-doubt, frustration and a creeping sense of danger. On Me focuses on the challenges of being a role model, ally, spontaneous romantic and potential victim all at once when chasing love in the post #MeToo era. Tickets are available on a Pay What You Can Basis, with £5, £10 and £15 tiers. There is also an option to donate to local charities Endeavour and Fortalice. Audience members can book via this link: https://linktr.ee/dtkmanc We have a trailer, which can also be viewed via the above link. Representatives of local charities will be present throughout to support audience members who may be affected by the themes of the play. CONTENT WARNING: Due to its challenging themes, the piece comes with 15+ age guidance and a content warning for sexual assault/r*pe, domestic violence, stalking and femicide.
