Joe Longthorne Theatre (formerly North Pier Theatre)

This fabulous North Pier Theatre was renamed The Joe Longthorne Theatre in 2020 in memory of entertainer who died in 2019. The Hull-born performer had his first summer season at the pier in 1987 and continued to perform more than 20 seasons in the 1,400 capacity venue on the Grade II-listed pier which he described as his all time favourite venue.

There is also a small museum next to the theatre dedicated to him with memorabilia including his grand piano, MBE and gold disc next to the theatre.
