Medway’s iconic Grade II listed theatre is temporarily closed while it undergoes major improvements.

The Brook Theatre will undergo exciting and extensive refurbishment works as part of the programme to help regenerate Medway’s City Centre. Investment in The Brook Theatre will ensure it plays its rightful role at the heart of Chatham, leading the growth in the evening and weekend economy.The Brook Theatre is the former Chatham Town Hall and boasts of stunning Victorian architecture providing the unforgettable backdrop for Medway’s creative heart. 

There are two performance areas allowing for a range of traditional and contemporary theatre, dance, music and entertainment.  

The Brook is the ideal place to keep the kids entertained all year round with a carefully considered programme of children’s theatre events.

The theatre is home to four professional creative companies as well as the Medway Arts Team bringing new and existing talent to your doorstep.
