The Geraldine Lamb Dance School (GLDS) was founded in 1918 by the late Geraldine Lamb. Three generations later her granddaughter, Sue Cook carries on the family tradition of teaching the performing arts. Sue started her training at 18 months old in the family dance school, at the age of 11 she successfully auditioned for a place at Elmhurst Ballet School, one of the country’s leading professional dance schools. After graduation from Elmhurst Sue followed the family tradition eventually becoming director of the GLDS .Sue Cook holds the Teachers Certificate and Diploma of the Royal Academy of Dance.
