The pub is a thriving local watering hole that has been keeping locals’ thirst at bay for over 100 years. They still do exactly that, with great ales, interesting wines, homemade seasonal drinks and delicious bar snacks.

Alongside the bar, the Heathcock offers a daily changing, seasonal menu in their dining rooms, using the very best produce that the Vale of Glamorgan and Cardiff have to offer. 

Everything is made from scratch in the kitchen, from sourdough bread and cultured butter, to fresh pasta. This is not pretentious fine dining; it is just about good food.

They have a Champagne & Oyster Bar upstairs, offering drinks, charcuterie and cheese, as well as boutique B&B rooms if you’re looking for somewhere to stay.
