Countless hours spent working and eating in kitchens, tabernas, cantinas, tapas bars and taquerias, along with the sleepless nights that come with studying for a degree in Hispanic studies had to amount to something…

So we created The Hispanist.

The region’s first Hispanic restaurant, important authentic Hispanic ingredients and using them along with local produce to create authentic Hispanic dishes that spark togetherness.

We were born out of a love for people, their language, their food and their culture.

Food designed to be picked, passed and shared. Eaten with knives, forks, and fingers. The perfect environment to discover your new favourite flavours with your favourite people

With dishes served out of Spain, central and South America our founder and chef Nick Hill along with his partner Alex welcome and encourage you to join us in a whole new way to behave at dinner.
