Tucked away in the bustling farmers market of The Goods Shed, the Wild Goose cocktail bar and food counter offers a retreat from the bustling streets of Canterbury. Showcasing the best of the market’s fresh produce, our menu of ‘little dishes’ is local, seasonal and ever-changing. Taking inspiration from the European tapas style of eating, we specialise in creating little dishes of food that are perfect for sharing over a glass of wine. We also open for breakfast serving Eggs Benedict, with our homemade hollandaise and scrambled eggs with chorizo, amongst others. Our cocktail menu is designed around the English garden with herb infused spirits and flower syrups. Each ingredient is carefully selected to work with the season and each drink is made with love. We care about wine too and have handpicked a selection of predominantly natural wines to compliment our menus. We also have a few craft beers, both on draught and bottled, spotlighting the best of our local Kent breweries. Sitting at our 15 seater bar you can watch our chefs prepare your dishes in the open kitchen. Or sit and watch the market wanderings over a cup of coffee.
