First Class Ploughman’s Lunch @ Avon Valley Railway

Take your seat in our first-class carriage and enjoy a traditional Ploughman’s Lunch while travelling through the Avon Valley.

Our Ploughman’s Lunch includes locally sourced pork pies, a selection of cheeses and meats, freshly baked crusty bread, salads and pickles. Tea and coffee is included and our onboard bar will be open for the purchase of any additional drinks.

When you arrive at the station, please collect your boarding card from the station booking office. The train will be ready to board at 1300 and departs at 1315 north to Oldland Common. You'll next travel south to Avon Riverside, enjoying the delightful scenery of the Avon Valley, before returning to Bitton at approximately 1415.

New for 2024: Selecting From The Menu

Having selected your seats and added them to the basket, you will next be able to choose options from our menu to create the meal of your choice. Simply select the appropriate quantity of dishes from each course, so that all the members of the party are catered for.
