The Sewell Barn Theatre

The Sewell Barn Theatre is housed in what was originally the barn of Clare House owned by Philip Sewell, a local benefactor, from 1864 to 1906. The Sewell Barn Company is the "in-house" drama company and has established a considerable reputation for its presentation of a varied, challenging and ambitious programme of plays.
