Manchester's HOME Announces Return To Live Theatre

There’s no place like HOME – Manchester's much loved multi-functional arts entertainment centre has announced the return of live theatre to its venue for the first time in over a year.

Over 30 new productions have been announced to showcase at the theatre over the next few months starting with the world premiere of Clara Casian and Robin Richards’ film and live score performance The Earth Asleep, which explores grief and memory.

Mark Thomas is also delighting fans with Mark Thomas: Fifty Things About Us – an interesting and intellectual show where the comedic genius combines his trademark mix of storytelling, stand-up, mischief and well researched material to examine how we have come to inhabit this divided wasteland that some of us call the United Kingdom.

Several of the productions will have a mixture of socially distanced and full-capacity performances.

Since HOME opened in 2015, 2.9 million people have already visited the venue, to see thrilling theatre and dance shows, experience great independent films from across the world, dive into the new galleries, relax in the café and browse the established bookshop.

The fantastic news of the reopening of theatre shows has been positively received by many, and we’re sure HOME is in for a fabulously festive Christmas period.
