Review: Did Bedknobs and Broomsticks cast a spell over critics?

We had the absolute pleasure of attending the beautiful Palace Theatre in Manchester last night to watch the sensational, family-friendly musical Bedknobs and Broomsticks.

Bedknobs and Broomsticks is a enchanting stage musical which is truly magical, imaginative and fun for all the family. The whole cast are phenomenal. Dianne Pilkington who plays Miss Eglantine Price had the whole audience in fits of laughter with her honest performance. Conor O'hara was a breath of fresh air with his obvious funny bones and the children played their parts with exceptional professionalism.

The fantastic ensemble also deserves special mention; as well as singing, dancing and setting up the stage for each scene, they operate the beautifully crafted puppets, and generally work their socks off.

This truly captivating performance will have you believing a bed can fly.

Bedknobs and Broomsticks is currently showing at Manchester Palace Theatre until the 24th October 2021. The production will then continue touring around the UK in 2022. You can book tickets here.
