The Lichfield Garrick Theatre is Back!

The Lichfield Garrick Theatre is Back!

After a long lockdown without live theatre, The Lichfield Garrick Theatre has announced that they return next week! The Garrick is proud to be one of the first theatres to open in their county.

The beloved Lichfield Garrick Theatre was closed for over a year, but as the country opens up, the theatre is getting ready to return.  At long last, patrons and performers will be making their way back into their treasured venue, with the likes of Suggs, Kevin Quantum, Solve-Along-A-Murder-She-Wrote, Judy & Liza: The Musical and Freddy the Teddy.

Karen Foster, the theatre’s Chief Executive, says, “After a most unusual year, we look forward to welcoming patrons back to the theatre, bringing the very best of comedy, music and drama, right here in your local theatre. Our heartfelt thanks go to those performers, staff members and funders who have supported us in our endeavours to re-open and to bring joy back to the stage.”

Set to open the theatre up next week is the critically acclaimed variety show 'A Black Country Night Out'.  Well here is a show that is bursting at the seams with talent!  Not only that but it is full of variety… comedy, music and even a tribute or two! The show features Dandy, Ollie Spencer, Vivo, Joe Thomas and Emma Rollason as ‘Dolly Allen’ Limited tickets are still available.

The theatre would like to reassure audiences that all appropriate safety measures are in place. You can find out more here
