The Anna Fiorentini Theatre & Film School, which is a not for profit organisation, opened in 2001 as a Prince’s Trust Business. Since then we have won multiple Business of London Awards and have a growing and solid reputation within the performing arts industry. We are not a franchise, and the principal and our team of teachers are involved in all branches of the school.Born & bred in Hackney, Anna decided that she wanted to provide local, affordable, accessible and at the same time high-quality performing arts classes to the community she grew up in. Knowing that depending on public funding for arts was chancy at best, she decided to open the school to anyone interested, and offer support to families who needed it. From our humble beginnings with only 70 students, we now have classes in various locations throughout London, with over 300 students, and have opened Fiorentini Weenies classes for 4-6 year olds. In 2011 the Fiorentini Foundation charity was setup to provide a fund-raising entity to help children needing support to participate in performing arts education.
Due to the spread of Covid-19, our normal classes have had to pause, however this hasn't stopped us #supportingyoungtalent. During this time, we will be offering online classes for students aged 4-18 years covering classes in singing, acting, dance and acting for screen. You will receive weekly pre-recorded classes from our team of industry professional tutors. They will lead your child through a range of activities and tasks, offering feedback and mentorship throughout.
In addition to this we will be offering live classes in a range of creative disciplines, academic focused classes, competitions, industry Q & A's and much much more.
Should your child then wish to continue with us when normal classes resume, a place will be made available for them.
All teachers are fully CRB checked.
