Baudelaire Aesthetics, 14 Queen Square, Bath, BA1 2HN
Growing up in Nice, Southern France, he was surrounded by a culture that values both natural skincare traditions and medical precision. In this environment, caring for the skin wasn’t cosmetic, it was part of daily life. The constant sun exposure also made issues like ageing, pigmentation, and protection a lived reality, not just academic topics. He began his career in pharmacy, gaining a clear understanding of how active ingredients affect the skin. That foundation led him to pursue a PhD in photobiology at the University of Bath, where he studied how light impacts skin health, inflammation, and ageing at the cellular level. Wanting to apply this knowledge directly, he went on to train in clinical dermatology, followed by aesthetic medicine. These steps gave him hands-on expertise across skin types and taught him how to deliver natural, precise results that respect the individual.
