About Bulrush Restaurant

Chef/Proprietor George Livesey, originally from the Peak District; trained at the Academy of the Culinary Arts, where Albert Roux was his sponsoring chef.  Before opening Bulrush, George worked in several notable restaurants including St. John Restaurant, Roux Fine Dining under Dan Cox, Club Gascon and White Rabbit in Dalston. 

Tucked away in the neighbourhood of Cotham in Bristol, you’ll find a comfortable and intimate setting to enjoy a beautifully prepared tasting menu.  With a focus on locally sourced and foraged ingredients, Classic Anglo-French cuisine combines with Japanese and Scandinavian influences at Bulrush to create an honest and unforgettable fine dining experience.
