My journey into costume design began with a spark of wonder as a child, watching The Labyrinth — a moment that planted the seed for a lifelong fascination with storytelling through costume. Though I didn’t create my first cosplay until I was 18, I had always been the 'artsy kid,' pouring my creativity into painting, beadwork, and detailed craft. When I discovered costume making, I found the perfect fusion of art, storytelling, and technical challenge. Over the years, cosplay became my creative playground — a place where I learned to work with a wide range of materials, improvise with limited resources, and bring characters to life with precision and purpose. It taught me resilience, problem-solving, and how to stay inventive under pressure. These skills, refined through academic training, have evolved into a professional foundation in wardrobe and art department work.
