Aesthetic medicine techniques have always interested Dr. John Buckmaster and he has undergone full training in a number of procedures. Training is, of course, ongoing and he attends refresher and update courses regularly, enabling him to keep up with the latest changes in aesthetic treatments. Dr. Buckmaster is an experienced General Practitioner with a full GMC licence and many years’ experience in Family Medicine, dealing with many different skin conditions and carrying out a lot of minor surgery. He was a GP in Poole for more than 20 years and then went to the Western Isles of Scotland where he gained valuable experience as a single handed GP. He continues to work as a GP in the Somerset and Dorset areas alongside practicing aesthetic medicine.
