About Eastern Tandoori

We opened our doors for business in 1995 with the sole purpose to bring authentic Indian cuisine to the people of Galway.  Indian food over time has escaped the European misunderstanding or notion of ‘one sauce fits all’ and has been recognized for the rich dining experience with all the wonderful potent flavours of the Indian subcontinent.

Here, at Eastern Tandoori we have brought the grandeur of the subcontinent of the rich and famous of antiquity into a semi traditional setting for your entertainment. The cuisine has been matched with the heritage recipes from various regions from India. From the rustic tandoori kababs of the North West Frontier Province and the aromatic mughlai cooking of Lucknow and Hyderabad to the delicate seafood cooking of the coastal cities and towns of this country.
