James Burns Photography, /n, London, /N
Hi, I’m James, a London-based photographer specialising in private views, exhibitions, events and live music. I enjoy capturing candid moments and blending into the background so that people feel relaxed and natural in front of the camera. My approach is discreet and unobtrusive, allowing me to document the atmosphere, interactions and spontaneous moments that make an event unique. I prefer to avoid using flash photography whenever possible, as I feel it helps preserve the atmosphere of an event and allows those natural moments to unfold without interruption. My work includes photographing private views and exhibitions for artists and galleries, as well as live music, events and weddings. I also work in video production, creating films and video content for events, artists, brands and musicians. Away from commissioned work, I’m passionate about street and automotive photography, particularly on film.
