About James Holland Counselling & Coaching

I began my career as a Recovery Coach in substance misuse services across Liverpool, Wirral, and St Helens, where I developed a strong foundation in building therapeutic relationships and supporting individuals through significant life challenges. While this role gave me valuable experience in working closely with clients, I wanted to deepen my theoretical understanding and broaden my professional skills This led me to complete a Diploma in Integrative Counselling, which has equipped me with a wider range of approaches and therapeutic theories. Now, as an Integrative Counsellor and Coach for adults, I’m able to draw on different methods to tailor my work to each client’s unique needs — helping them move towards healing, growth, and greater self-confidence. 

I work with individuals from all walks of life, each with a unique story and set of challenges. As a fully qualified counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to a strict code of ethics to ensure our work is respectful and effective.
