A first for Scotland, The Four Sisters Boatels are a collection of luxury, self-catering, canal houseboats, located in the very heart of Edinburgh city centre and has been awarded 4 stars by the Scottish Tourist Board. They are purpose built, permanently moored, static wide-beam houseboats, so don’t worry if you haven’t got your sea legs, there are no currents or tides, and sea/canal sickness is not an issue. They can sleep up to 4 adults and 2 children under 10 years, 6 adults and 8 adults comfortably. Each boat comprises of a full size modern kitchen with all mod cons expected, a shower room with macerator toilet and an open plan lounge area. All boats also have 2 decks with outdoor seating areas. The boats are moored in the picturesque Lochrin Basin at Fountainbridge and are just a 15-minute walk to Edinburgh Castle and The Royal Mile. Access to an on-land shower, toilet and laundry facility is also provided. All boats welcome pets free of charge.
