The Cable Tour 2026 presented by Siamsa Tíre @ Siamsa Tíre

Siamsa Tíre is thrilled to welcome Aidan Dooley, renowned for the award-winning Tom Crean: Antarctic Explorer, as he directs Mike Kelly’s The Cable in a powerful new telling, co-produced by Siamsa Tíre.

This evocative one-man play weaves together the compelling storytelling of Mike Kelly with an original score by Dave McGilton, recorded music by Tom Hanafin and Katie Lucey, atmospheric lighting by John Hurley, and sensitive direction from Aidan Dooley. The result is a deeply moving theatrical experience exploring loss, hope, and the enduring human need for connection.
