53two is Manchester’s newest and most exciting theatre venue in the city, operating as a charity and supporting underserved, disenfranchised and disabled creatives.
Unlike any other venue in Manchester, 53two produce solely new writing from creatives looking to give their work a platform. Alongside this we run various initiatives to launch new companies and/or individuals with financial help and support in kind.
The venue prides itself on being accessible in every sense; we differ from the grandiose, glass and steel structures or the expensive 1000 seater behemoths. Instead, we serve beer, pies and a great night out in a relaxed and comfortable environment with affordable prices and a variety of shows and events for all.
The venue is wheelchair accessible throughout (for performers too!) and the staff are trained in BSL.
Dogs are welcome in the bar area, open from 11am
